I have a date picker already but the styling isn't working and my calendar is see-through or it looks strange.

There could be a few reasons for this:

  • There is conflict between ssl and non-ssl served pages and the jquery picker.
  • There is some sort of conflict between your theme and the jQuery date-picker.
  • There is some sort of conflict between one of your Apps and the jQuery date-picker.
I have installed your date picker but it isn't working and no calender is popping up. What should I do?

Each shop is unique and runs with it's own theme and apps. We have tested the install in many shops and it works in about 90% of cases straight off the bat. However, if it's not working in your store than we can investigate and try to fix it for you.

This is a manual task carried out by our developers and there is a call-out charge of $50 plus a $50 fix fee if we are successful in being able to fix it. You can order it here.

Can I add the delivery date-picker at product level?

No -  that’s not something we offer at the moment

Can I add the delivery date to Invoices and / or Delivery Notes?

Yes – we can do that for you if would like us to. You can order it here.

Can I add the delivery date to Order Confirmation emails?

Yes – we can do that for you if would like us to. You can order it here.

If I export my orders to a csv/excel file will the delivery date come through too?

Yes, it will – See this example:

 

Can I make the customer choose a date when they checkout?

Yes – we can do that for you if would like us to. You can order it here.

If I export my orders will the tags come through too?

No they won’t. Shopify doesn’t allow tags to come through to the csv file when you export order details.

Can I charge different rates for different delivery dates?

Not yet – it’s something that we’re looking into – please email us if you’re interested in this feature.

Can I make the date mandatory on the cart page?

It can be done but it's not a service that we offer. It could be a simple job, or it can be very complicated, depending on the other apps and how your theme is set-up. We recommend working with your local developer on this as they should be familiar with the apps and your shop's particular set-up.

Can I make some days of the week unavailable?

Yes – we can do that for you if would like us to. You can order it here.

Can I make one-off holiday date unavailable for delivery?

Yes – we can do that for you. We will set-up the “holiday dates” that you Initially require and send you a tutorial explaining how to change future holiday dates from within your shopify liquid page. You can order it here.

Can I add lead times to orders?

Can you create an app to auto tag orders with different fields (other than a delivery date)

Can I add a cut-off date to next week's orders?

Yes – we can do that for you if would like us to. You can order it here.

I have a subscription app installed – Does Auto-Tag tag orders for these recurring orders?

Our app doesn’t integrate very well with the shopify subscription apps. You’ll have to manage orders from within the subscription app portal.

Can I limit the number of orders per day?

Not yet – it’s something that we’re looking into – please email us if you’re interested in this feature.

How can I remove the delivery date from my cart page?

1. Don't Simply Uninstall the app!

If you no longer need the delivery date on your cart page then Navigate to "App Preferences" from the App and select the button titled "Remove Delivery Date Cart Option". Watch this video to see:

This will work if it's this app was responsible for installing the delivery date field. If you installed the date field via another method or have changed the name of the snippet then this will not work.

What Happens if I've already got a date picker installed?

If you’ve already got a date field on your cart page, then our app will use that to tag the order. You just need to tell us what format to expect the date in – dd/mm/yyyy or mm/dd/yyyy. You can do this in the apps settings.

Why do I need to tell you the date format?

Our App will tag orders with a day of the week. In order to calculate what the day of the week is then we need to know the format. For example,  1/2/2016 1st February 2016 is a Monday, but 2nd January 2016 is a Saturday. if we don’t know the date format to expect then we won’t know which day of the week it is.

Can I delete tags that I no longer use?

If you're "previously used tags" list is getting out of control and you want to delete or remove the tags you no longer need then you can do that. We created a youtube video to explain how to do it which you can see here:

We published a new theme and now the date picker has disappeared. How do I get it back?

The app installs on whatever you're live theme is. If you change themes then any changes that you've made to the theme layout will not be applied to the new theme. There are 2 options for fixing it.
1. Unistall and Re-Install the app once you have set-up your new theme.
2. Amend your theme manually. You'll need to copy the snippet called ""autotag-delivery-date.liquid"" to your new theme and add it to your cart snippet.
